My Press Conference to the Media
On Wednesday my company MORE Real Estate Services organized a Press Conference at Hilton hotel, using the help of Civitas PR specialists. It was good, productive and interesting, I could even describe the result as satisfactory. We invited almost everyone, but Tuesday’s storm prevented many of them to come (probably together with the fact that I didn’t have anything “shocking” to announce). As it was the first event we organized, we also learned a lot, so as the next ones to be even more successful.
Discussing with 12 journalists is never an easy job, even for an ex journalist like me. If you allow me, I would comment that I like the fact that in Romania journalists are more independent than Greece, especially in the Real Estate segment. They can criticize and present the bad sides of a situation or a person, while in my home country usually you just read how intelligent, smart and polite someone is. I know that this is not convenient for me, as I have to work more and to be very careful while addressing to media people, but I consider it as a continuous challenge (and I love challenges). Many businessmen make the major mistake not to respect all the journalists, judging them by the way they are dressed, or by the awareness of the media they work at. Endless examples have proved the opposite…
I will not tell you too much for this day, very soon in the new version of this blog you will be able to watch the whole video uploaded, my introduction with my approach to the market, all the questions and my answers.

I will not tell you too much for this day, very soon in the new version of this blog you will be able to watch the whole video uploaded, my introduction with my approach to the market, all the questions and my answers. We covered almost 25 topics, as I never have problem to reply and comment about Real Estate in Romania. In the last part of the discussion, I also presented to them my book, “Romania through my eyes”, which was published in April.
I wish to everyone to enjoy a long, extended weekend! Back to you on Tuesday, as Monday is an Orthodox holiday!
PS. A Press Conference is not only the moment when I find the journalists and I discuss with them. It is mainly something which includes a lot of hours of hard work and stress. Therefore I would like to thank my colleague Daniela Ralea, who was in charge (from our company) for this event, together with Andreia Stefanescu and Diana Nitulescu from Civitas (who worked under the guidance of Tereza Valcan and Areti Georgilis).
