CEE Investment activity picks up in August, Russia makes up half of deals

      Property investment in Central and Eastern Europe totaled some EUR 458 million in July and August, through 17 mostly off-market transactions, according to CB Richard Ellis CEE Property Investment MarketView.
      The year-to-date investment turnover for CEE was EUR 936 million.
      The July and August numbers made up 96 percent of the total turnover for HI.
      Much of the activity came from Russia, with EUR 239 million in July and August, half of the CEE total.
      Elsewhere in the region, activity has picked up somewhat, but most markets have remained quiet.
