Back to the future….My 9 targets for 2009

Happy New Year to everyone! I hope you had fun all this period. I wish you Health, Happiness, Power and Luck. Don’t tell me you don’t need it, as I used to say in the past. A crazy Greek politician said something very correct about it: “The passengers of Titanic were healthy, but they didn’t have luck”.
Since I posted my last thoughts here, many things have changed. The future we described in 2008 becomes a reality now, Leu is around 4.27 now and is heading to what I had told you on October 15th (http://www.realinromania-blog.com/?p=152) and everyone is trying to understand what will happen in this year…
In the same time, my… “heroes” remain the same, unserious, liars, trying to trick everyone, even while they don’t have one deal since Nicoleta Luciu was not even pregnant. I have collected so many new stories to share with you this year, trust me, you will not be bored… But also on 01.01.2009 (the day I celebrated 10 years of having a beard!), I decided to promise to myself that I will succeed in 9 targets this year. And I gave my word that I will be honest with the targets, realistic and I will fight to achieve them. So, in 2009…

1. I will lose 20 kilos. (the truth we said…) Ok, 12 kilos (you gave your word…), ok, ok, in 2009 I will lose 8 kilos!

2. I will focus almost exclusively in the opportunities of the market, through banks and other “channels”, connections etc, providing my clients what they really search.

3. I will publish in a book all the good posts of this blog that I posted in 2008, together with the best of your comments.

4. I will avoid all the “sirens of hell” who will try to convince me that “Romania will be destroyed”, instead of the reality that I believe. Romania will have a difficult year (or two), but by surpassing it, it will have a great period coming too.

5. I will work less hours per day (so… no more 14 – 18 hours daily, just… 12), investing more time in me, my friends and some other important priorities of life.

6. I will not stop proposing investments in other cities, as I am pretty sure that we will find incredible opportunities there this year.

7. I will disclose to you more secrets, better stories and more predictions (as you seem to enjoy this a lot). I am already prepared actually…

8. I will reduce my fixed costs and participations to International Exhibitions to more than half than this year. It is not relevant with our company’s situation (healthy 100%), but in Greek we say that the children of the wise, cook before they get hungry…

9. I will invest a lot in internet and interactive technologies, which I consider the first to change the status of a company after this crisis.

PS. A friend sent me these nice words… “Irish Philosophy: In life, there are only two things to worry about… Either you are well or you are sick. If you are well, there is nothing to worry about, But if you are sick, there are only two things to worry about… Either you will get well or you will die. And if you go to hell, you’ll be so busy shaking hands with all your friends… You won’t have time to worry!”
